The preliminary opening of the raincatcher was marked by an afternoon spent with the Client (the nature reserve volunteer workers) where we were treated to mulled wine and mince pies.

There will be a formal opening in the Spring.

The video (link below) was produced during a 4-day workshop directed by Harald Trapp of TU Vienna. The brief was to produce a music video with the use of 1/50 physical scale models, creating a narrative exploring how the 'hotel room' could break away from its typical typology.

Each of us in the unit group were asked to each stay a night at a hotel of our own choice and record the experience using photographs and line drawings. A book (above) was produced containing the work of the group and it is intended to be used as a concise source of precedents.
